My Macbook, which uses the usb-c to charge stoped taking a charge and after doing some research I learned that it was a pretty common issue with my particular model which was the first to come out with the touch bar on top.
As well I recalled that Apple no longer qualified the battery under warranty which is what had made it worth it before. I declined when I was told that for warranty, they ship to California to analyze the issue and then get back to you within several weeks to a month wether it is fixable or not and often times send you a refurb. When I purchased this particular laptop I remember that the sales staff was much more interested in selling me the extended warranty than in finding the computer that best suited my needs. Less than two years ago I bought I bought a high priced Macbook from Bestbuy this is perhaps the fourth Macbook I have purchased from there in the last 10 years. I figured they would hike up the price but man was i wrong!! He fixed all the issues and put in a new OS for me no charge! The price stayed as promised.an fixed the issue in a matter of days! If you are on the fence about coming here dont! Place is awesome the attention is personal and professional! They found a customer for life! Great experience!! read more So i find pc911 and speak to Angel he said pass by, when i arrived he gave me a quote that was so low i didnt believe it. They called me later saying they can send it to a service tech out of state to replace the entire display and they would charge me almost $600 but they could not guarantee that it would work! I called 3-4 places all said min around $300 without even looking at the computer. I had taken it to the apple store 1st they told me it was something small to replace, they replaced the part within a week but still would not work. I found PC911 browsing around the internet to get my macbook fixed. Let me start at the beginning to see how great this place is! Bear with me.
